"Whoever studies today, his life is bracketed by two crises. September 11, 2001 is associated with early childhood. Today, the Corona crisis is shaping studies like no other event before. We know from past crises that they are mostly over when a narrative that summarizes the events prevails. This narrative meaning has a long-term effect that can be stronger than the crisis."
